The Elms | Te Papa Tauranga will be holding Devonshire Teas in Spring and Summer only, starting again in September 2026. Unfortunately due to increased fuel pressures we can only welcome groups with minimum 20 people, we shall keep this update should the situation change going forward.
Weekends are by appointment only, and we require one weeks notice per booking. Clubs and societies who would like to arrange a visit to this significant heritage site and stay for one of our famous Devonshire Teas. Guests enjoy delicious scones, jam and whipped cream, with tea served in fine China cup.

Pre-bookings are essential to ensure that we guides ready for your group, avoiding any wait times. Your Devonshire Tea can either be before or after a guided tour of House and Library. History of the Garden as a special interest presentation can be available on request by our knowledgeable guides.
Due to the heritage shell and stone paths, access can be restricted for some walking devices. We ask you to check prior to coming regarding disabled access requirements.
A limited amount of 2hr parking is available on Mission St or public parking on Cliff Rd.
